The black BodyBag Compact Telephoto from Lens Coat is designed to fit compact camera bodies, without the optional body grip, with a 6.5" (16.5cm) lens attached. It protects your camera and lens from incidental bumps and "dings" that occur in normal everyday use or during a photo shoot. The soft neoprene covering is shock-absorbent and also provides a way to keep dust, dirt and other contaminants from harming your investment. The Compact Telephoto comes with a removable front element protection disc that is made from a rigid plastic and offers additional abrasion protection for the front of your optic.
The touch fastened closure provides quick access to your gear and is easy to use. The included retaining strap easily attaches to your camera's strap so you'll never have to worry about losing the cover. The BodyBag Compact Telephoto is designed to fit prosumer bodies without the optional body grip installed. This version comes in a matte all-black finish to better blend in where desirable. Or, it can be used just for its protection value.

Comments about LensCoat BodyBag Compact Telephoto (Black):
Before buying this particular one, I read all the reviews to figure out which size would be best. This particular one fits my D90 with a 18-250mm lens. There's still some room at the end for a longer lens, and the extra padding at the end is a nice bonus so there's added protection to the end of my lens. What I was really happy with is that I don't use a "regular" neck camera strap, but Black Rapid Cross Body strap, and I can lie it flat on the bottom and it fits nicely out of the side. I was worried that I would need to unscrew the fastenr/strap every time I'd want to place my camera in the bag.
As most have already said, this bag shouldn't be used to really protect your camera, but it's just a little something to protect it from small digs and bumps. The seams are great to give the bag some form.
