The Mercury Rack Pro 4 Bay 1U Rack Storage Solution (4 TB) by OWC is an external mini-SAS hard drive enclosure that has a 4-hard drive configuration with a maximum capacity of up to 12 TB (3 TB per hard drive mechanism). It offers 7200 RPM rotation speed and 32 MB per drive, 128 MB total for the solution, and is suitable for use in audio/video production environments.
In addition to offering 4 full channels of data (1 per drive) via a single external mini-SAS cable, the single external mini-SAS interface provides a hassle-free cable management solution. When used with the external mini-SAS card (not included), the Mercury Rack Pro 4 Bay offers drive transfer rates up to 24Gb/s.
The flexible form design allows you to easily convert the Mercury Rack Pro 4 Bay 1U Rack Storage Solution to a desktop form factor using the Phillips screwdriver, and simply removing the rack ears and installing the included anti-skid, vibration dampening feet.
