Elmo ECART-NP All-in-one Classroom Cart

The Elmo ECART-NP All-in-one Classroom Cart is a mobile A/V system that provides an all-in-one solution for your educational needs. It is equipped with the TT-02RX Document Camera, CRA-1 Wireless Slate/Tablet, CRP-221 Projector, CRC-1 Switcher, Speakers, Amplifier, and Digital Media Player Docking Station.

The Elmo TT-02RX Document Camera is an image capturing device with 1.39 MP CMOS sensor and 41.6 zoom (5.2x optical, 8x digital), and can capture images at 30fps. Offering a capture area of 11 x 17" (27.9 x 43.2 cm), the camera supports SXGA, WXGA, and XGA resolutions. Equipped with a rotating head and rigid arm, the camera allows you to capture stable images in any camera angle. With the Auto Focus function, you can focus on a manually selected point or area and capture images of fast-moving objects without the stroboscopic effect. The Auto Brightness function adjusts the brightness of the display according to the lighting conditions of the room, while the LED lamp synchronizes its brightness with the display to ensure high-quality presentations. In the Microscope-view mode, you can enlarge minute objects and make it suitable for detailed study.

On installing the Image Mate software, you can use the annotation tools to draw lines, shapes, and even write on the images with the Free Hand Pen function. In addition to video with audio recording, the software also offers time-lapse photography that allows you to program the camera to capture images over a period. Compatible with standard SD and SDHC cards, the camera allows you to transfer data to an SD card and vice versa. By connecting the camera to a PC via the USB port, you can display any data stored on your PC.

To keep the audience focused on the presentations, you can highlight or mask a specific area on the presentation. Using a PIP (picture-in-picture) function, you can insert a captured image in a live image. The TT-02RX Document Camera is equipped with a logically designed control panel that includes simplified buttons and LEDs. The ergonomic ‘Frosty’ remote control with a unique infra-red receiver allows you to control the camera from a distance of 23’ (7.01m).

In order to enhance the effectiveness of teaching, the TT-02RX Camera is bundled with the CRA-1 Digital Wireless Tablet. With an effective range of 50' (15m), the ultra-portable tablet weighs merely 1.4 lb (0.64 kg) and has a writable area of 8 x 5" (20 x 13cm). The CRA-1 Tablet has 1024 pressure levels to modify the thickness of strokes and has a reading speed of 120rps. A host of digital features of the CRA-1 Tablet, such as image stamping, text input, and image inserts, complement the TT-02RX Camera.

The CRC-1 Switcher allows you to easily switch between document cameras, PC, DVD players, and portable music players with the press of a button. In addition to supporting bi-directional RS-232 or IR communication, the module is pre-programmed with IR codes for 8 leading projector manufacturers for ease of use. Using a microphone as an audio input, you can speak over the existing audio, and the Ducking feature avoids frequency clashes in your mix which improves audibility. The CRC-1 switcher has a surface mount design for easy integration with other equipment.

Also included with the ECART-NP Classroom Cart are two extended range 5” speakers, a 25W amplifier and a digital media player docking station. The speaker and amplifier are mounted inside the front of the cart.
