Comments about Switronix PB70B PowerBase 70 (Battery Pack Only):
I got two of these to power my DSLR rig. Perfect compliment to a small setup. I attached the quickrelease plate to the 1/4 20 on the back of my rig and that left the vmount on the battery exposed on the other side. Now i can mount my audio recorder directly to the battery with a vmount quickrelease. Awesome!! Also works as a great counterbalance. Powers my 5D and Marshall monitor for 5 hours and swapping out batteries takes 5 seconds.
I opted for the Zacuto LP-E6 Dtap cable because it was longer than the powerbase 70 cable and offered more setup flexibility.
The charger for the battery is junk though; died the first day.

Runs my Torch LED light for hours. Has battery level LED's on the side. I'm docking one star because the plug is poorly implemented and somewhat difficult to connect. Not a huge problem, it's just a little finicky.

Comments about Switronix PB70B PowerBase 70 (Battery Pack Only):
Totally awesome. Has a lot of charge right out the box. Only one p-tap, but the cord I bought for it gives you another one, and when you get the plate for your camera it gives you two more. Great bang for buck.
