Audition CS5.5 from Adobe is audio production software that delivers the professional tools needed to make video and audio productions sound their best, easily handling a wide range of audio tasks efficiently, including recording, mixing and sound restoration.
Workflow is sped up through fast, flexible file exchange with Adobe Premiere Pro software, OMF file exchange with other audio post tools, and XML project exchange with other NLEs. Additional enhancements include the ability to mix natively for surround sound and multi-channel audio, or quickly clean up and finalize audio for video, radio, TV, or film.
The software allows for turning poor production audio into great soundtracks by eliminating hums, clicks, pops and other unwanted noises using noise reduction and sweetening tools. Mix multiple tracks containing dialogue, music, sound beds and SFX, and download royalty-free sounds, Foley effects and music from Resource Central to add emotion and nuance to a project.
