KanexPro Digital to Analog Audio Converter
The KanexPro Digital to Analog Audio Converter, designed for either home or professional audio switching environments, is used to convert a digital S/PDIF or optical inputs to RCA output. With a sampling rate of 48 kHz, the adaptor supplies digital audio on 2 channels using uncompressed LPCM (Linear PulseCode Modulation). It provides electromagnetic-noise-free transmissions for a crystal clear audio signal, and is easy to install and simple to operate.

My wife is hard of hearing and requires high tech hearing aides. Yet she
can't understand any of the words coming from our TV set. Most recently I tried a listening device which consists of an rf transmitter (which connects to the audio output of the TV) and receiver (which transmits the received signal to her hearing aides). But the TV audio output is in digital form and the rf transmitter requires an analog audio signal. BH solved my problem by sending me a digital optical cable which I connected to the digital output of the TV. Then I connected the KanexPro Digital to Analog Audio Converter. They worked like a charm. My wife is so delighted, now she can hear all her favorite
TV shows.

My tv have a digital output,the kanex pro convert the digital audio to analog, with the tv the sound have no output an a loud noise, with the blue-ray it sound ok but nothing spectacular, also cant control the audio output with the tv remote. Think the problem is with the tv digital output. The kanexpro doent work for me.
