The On-Stage MBP7000 Microphone Boom Pole features 3 aluminum telescoping sections and an adjustable length of 3.1 - 8.1' (0.94 - 2.46m). The MBP7000 boom pole is ideal for audio capturing with shotgun microphones, cardioid microphones and stereo microphones in video audio, sound design recording, film applications and more. Rubber hand grips are provided for secure, non-slip handling and standard 5/8"-27 male thread adapter with 3/8"-16 internal threads at the top pf the pole.

Its good for a few applications but after a while the plastic tightening mechanisms start cracking and failing.
So if you need a quick temporary boom pole this will work for $50+, but if you plan on doing audio for a while then don't be fooled by the lightweight and long length. Spend the extra $125 on something made to last.

I like how light weight and strong it is its a good price for a good product.
I have yet to find some thing wrong with this pole i would recomend this to other people.
