Brite-Strike's Flexaton Baton With Integrated Light is an expandable baton made of semi-rigid thermo plastic in the USA. A bright (170 lumens) light is built into the end of the baton, with a switch that allows you to go from Hi to Low to Strobe with a press of your thumb or finger.
When used with an aggressive subject, an officer can use the 170-lumen High or Strobe settings to distract and disorient the subject. The baton can be quickly snapped out and used to defend or ward off a blow. If necessary, the baton can be also used to deliver an effective strike--you don't have to drop your flashlight to reach for your baton, gaining precious seconds while the attacker is disoriented from the highly effective strobe.
These batons can also deliver effective nerve and muscular shock in a baton strike but with the benefit that it is less likely to deliver lethal strikes against you if taken away.
