The Davis & Sanford Voyager TG Tripod with TriggerGrip Ball Head is a complete camera support system that enables fast and easy adjustment to the head's positioning. The 4-section tripod features a 2-section column, which means that though the system reaches a maximum height of 62", it's capable of folding down small enough (21") to fit easily inside a backpack or carry-on luggage.
Flip locks enable leg extension. Legs can be set independently at three different angles for work on uneven terrain. Thanks to the dual sections of the rapid center column, minimum height is a very low 11".
The 5" tall TriggerGrip head features an ergonomic grip that allows you to squeeze the trigger and quickly reposition the head. Simply release the trigger, and the head locks into place. This type of head is ideal for action photography that requires fast and frequent setup changes.
The head's quick-release platform features a fluid-action panning function (with a lock) that operates independently of the movement of the ball head. Smooth panning makes the tripod & head suitable for many video applications involving compact camcorders. The lightweight (3.8 lb) tripod supports loads up to 7 lb.
A quick-release plate is included, as is a padded carry case.

The pan locking lever broke on the second use. The camera braket slips on the camera so I can't take vertical shots. the bracket also has a bit of play on the tripod.

Comments about Davis & Sanford Voyager TG 4-Section Aluminum Tripod with TriggerGrip Ball Head:
This is a sturdy and easy to use tripod. I used it on a photographic expedition to Monument Valley where I had to set up fast and stay aimed overnight in the dark. The pistol grip is quick and accurate. This tripod also looks good and it has a case for airline travel.
