The Bosch DLA-AIOU0-04AT 1200 IP Video Storage Appliance (4TB), with redundant dual Gigabit Ethernet network interfaces, 4GB memory, and a Pentium Dual Core Processor, offers reliable and efficient recording solution for network surveillance systems of up to 32 cameras. The video storage appliance comes with four 1TB SATA-II field replaceable hard drives with a total of 4TB storage capacity. Powered by Bosch VRM (Video Recording Manager) software, the storage appliance reduces the ownership cost by eliminating the need for a separate NVR (network video recorder) and other storage hardware.

Featured wizard-based set-up and centralized configuration significantly reduce installation times. In addition, the storage appliance comes with all preinstalled and pre-configured components offering instant recording facility. With BVIP Lite Suite viewing software, the video storage appliance can be converted to a low-cost 16 channel IP video management solution.

For uninterrupted performance, the storage appliance features single-socket-system, and a server-class motherboard. The video storage appliance uses Windows Storage Server 2008 operating system that minimizes threats and does not run exposed applications like email, browser or media player. In addition, the Windows Storage Server 2008 comes with features such as Windows Service Hardening, Windows Firewall with Advanced Security, enhanced and improved TCP/IP stack, and hardened/re-architected platform.

With built-in Microsoft System Center Suite, the Windows Storage Server 2008 enables users to efficiently manage the video storage array. Using single central tool for configuration and operations management, the system center suite reduces installation and training requirements.

Offering SNMP, Remote Desktop, and HTTP monitoring support for the VRM application and system’s hardware, the video storage appliance provides system-wide monitoring and management to ensure maximum uptime.
