The Bosch DLA-AIOXL1-08AT 1400 IP Video Storage Array (16TB), with RAID-5 configuration, dual port Gigabit Ethernet network interface, 4GB memory, and a Pentium Dual Core Processor, offers reliable and efficient recording solution for network surveillance systems of up to 128 channels. The video storage array comes with eight 2TB SATA-II hard drives with a total of 16TB storage capacity. Powered by Bosch VRM (Video Recording Manager) software, the storage array reduces the ownership cost by eliminating the need for a separate NVR (network video recorder) and other storage hardware.
Featured wizard-based set-up and centralized configuration significantly reduce installation times. In addition, the storage array comes with all preinstalled and pre-configured components offering instant recording facility. With support for optional Bosch VMS (Video Management System) Lite (for up to 64 cameras) and professional edition (for up to 128 cameras), the video array offers all-in-one video management solution.
For uninterrupted performance, the storage array features a single-socket-system, server-class motherboard, and energy-efficient hot-swap redundant power supplies. The video storage array uses Windows Storage Server 2008 operating system that minimizes threats and does not run exposed applications like email, browser or media player. In addition, the Windows Storage Server 2008 comes with features such as Windows Service Hardening, Windows Firewall with Advanced Security, Enhanced and improved TCP/IP Stack, and Hardened/Re-architected platform.
With built-in Microsoft System Center Suite, the Windows Storage Server 2008 enables users to efficiently manage the video storage array. Using single central tool for configuration and operations management, the system center suite reduces installation and training requirements.
Offering SNMP, Remote Desktop, and HTTP monitoring support for the VRM application and system’s hardware, the video storage array provides system-wide monitoring and management to ensure maximum uptime.
