The Bosch MHW-S360R7-LL Management Server is a 1U HP ProLiant DL360 G7 rackmount server enabling 19" (48.3 cm) rack deployment. Engineered for standard performance video applications and extreme adaptability, the server offers high reliability in a dense 1U form factor that makes it perfect for space-constrained installations. The rackmount contains a quick-deploy rail system that includes sliding universal rails, enabling access to all system
components for simple in-rack serviceability. It enables you to work more efficiently while benefiting from scalable performance and improved power efficiency at lower costs.
The server comes with a whole lot of goodies: A Quad-Core Intel Xeon CPU, 4.0 GB RAM, and a 146 GB internal Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) hard disk drive, plus PCI-Express Gen2 technology. But that's not all the system has--there's also a DVD drive, an SCSI HBA, 2 HP NC382i Dual Port Multifunction Gigabit server adapters for a total of 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports, and dual 460 W hotplug power supplies. The server comes bundled with Microsoft Windows Server 2008.
The CPU is a quad-core Intel Xeon Processor E5606, with a 2.13 GHz speed. It possesses an 8.0 MB L3 cache, an 80 W power supply, and DDR3-1066 memory. The CPU teams up with the 4.0 GB RAM, which comes in 2 sets of 2.0 GB PC3‑10600R RDIMMs (registered DIMMs) running at 1066 MHz, to offer performance, scalability, and support for memory-demanding applications in medium-sized recording environments--without redundancy on disk level.
You can give yourself high capacity data storage by connecting optional external SCSI storage arrays, such as the Bosch DVA range of SCSI arrays, to the server by way of a PCI‑e single-channel SCSI Host Bus Adapter (arrays not included).
