The Bosch MHW-S380R7-HC Management Server is an HP ProLiant DL380 Generation 7 (G7) 2U rackmount server offering excellent performance with enhanced consolidation over previous-generation models. Improved versatility, enterprise-class uptime, sophisticated management features, the latest processor series, and 2U density make the server well-suited for demanding video applications.
The MHW-S380R7-HC is engineered for the highest-performance video applications requiring high availability and redundancy. With its hot plug fans and power supplies, it provides a high level of system availability where
the number of unplanned downtimes caused by hardware failures is reduced, while its RAID controller offers internal RAID-1 operating system protection.
The server boasts not one but two quad-core Intel Xeon E5606 2.13 GHz processors, each with DDR3-1066 memory, an 8.0 MB L3 cache, and 80 W power. These CPU's work in conjunction with 4.0 GB (2 x 2.0 GB) PC3‑10600R Registered DIMM memory, running at 1066 MHz, in order to offer performance, scalability, and support for memory-demanding applications in large-sized environments.
The server's 2U, 19" (48.3 cm) rackmount form factor contains a quick-deploy rail system, including sliding universal rails, enabling access to all system components for simple in-rack serviceability.
The MHW-S380R7-HC has 6 Gigabit Ethernet ports provided by 2 HP NC382i Dual Port
Multifunction Gigabit server adapters and 1 NC382T PCIe Dual Port Gigabit server adapter.
Additionally, the system comes with two 146 GB HP Internal Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) 3.0 Gb/s hard disk drives, each featuring a 2.5" (6.4 cm) form factor and spinning at 10,000 rpm.
