The gray Venture 35 Backpack from Clik Elite is slightly larger than their Venture 30 model. For heading out on a quick photo expedition to the outback, this bag has it all. In addition to accommodating your pro DSLR, 4-5 lenses plus accessories, it has a 3 liter (100 oz) hydration bladder essential for active endeavors while even the side pockets are designed to hold water bottles. You'll never want for thirst.
The bag is made from Clik's water-resistant nylon and supplied with an easy-to-use rain fly that can be quickly set up during a sudden downpour - or even if you're crossing a stream and want to keep your gear extra dry. Most scenic photographers need a tri or mono-pod and the Venture 35 is equipped with a tip-out sling that will center your "pod" in the center of your pack. The harness system is fully adjustable and contains both waist belt and sternum strap for steadying the pack while traveling.
The interior is set up to be arranged in whatever configuration you need to safely hold your gear. Adjustable and padded dividers will create individual compartments for your DSLR and lenses. The top zippered pocket is for smaller items like cards, batteries and other personal items that need to be quickly accessed. Rugged zippers guard the front compartments and allow you to open only that part of the pack that you need to retrieve specific gear.
Clik has designed the harness system to be ergonomic and comfortable while in use. You'll be able to fine tune the pack with variable height, width and angle of the wide shoulder straps to create a perfect fit. The waist belt is also wide and connected with a bi-directional quick-release buckle that cradles your hips. There's also a sternum strap for additional security and balance.
Backed by Clik Elite's lifetime warranty, the Venture 35 is a slim, trim and rugged pack for anyone who likes to get off the beaten path to where real images are made.

Comments about Clik Elite Venture 35 Backpack (24 x 12.2 x 8.6", Gray):
It's not a perfect photo backpack. If you want one for storing your gear, forget this one. But if you want to be able to bring your gear on hiking, climbing, short travels etc this one is perfect.
By the first glance it might be a bit large. But when you're out on a photo shoot out in the wilderness - or hiking you understand that his is what you have missed.
You have your gear secured and safe on your back, ant the backpack securly protect it through rough terrain and difficult climbes.
Unlike a smaller one you also can bring much more clothing etc.
I love it.

Comments about Clik Elite Venture 35 Backpack (24 x 12.2 x 8.6", Gray):
I purchased this pack for a trip this past fall. I was headed to Antelope Canyon, Zion, Bryce, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. In Antelope I used a Clik Elite Escape, however in the remaining destinations I knew I need something to carry both camera gear and everything in between. So in those places I carried a D700 with grip, L-bracket, and 24-70 attached, a 70-200, 16-35, D7000, batteries for both, cable release, a bunch of Singh-Ray filters(both slide and screw-on), hotshot level, cleaning clothes, food, extra clothing, maps, water bladder. I almost over loaded this pack. The Bottom portion containing the camera section is deep, you can pack a lot of stuff if done right. I felt my gear was protected, the harness was great, the tripod strap could be a bit higher to prevent it from swaying, still 5-star from me.

Comments about Clik Elite Venture 35 Backpack (24 x 12.2 x 8.6", Gray):
I hike every weekend with my camera and equipment in the mountains.
The pack is designed nicely and is very comfortable plus has plenty of room for equipment and extra items and the padding prevents the lenses from moving around. I can say that overall it is a very nice pack.
But some instructions about the features of the pack would be nice. I think I placed the water bladder in the correct location only problem is the bladder does not go completely in the slot. I placed a water bottle in one of the side pockets and it kept falling out as I was moving the pack around, it did remain in once the pack was on my back. These two pockets should be a little deeper or there should be a strap to hold water bottles in the pockets. When I first put the pack on I could not get it off because I could not get the clips on the shoulder straps to release, but being new, they needed to loosen up. I have trouble with them because they do not have a tab like most packs straps which make them much easier to release the straps and while the locking clip is good for most of the straps using them on the shoulder straps is unnecessary.
The real only negative issue I have is all the weight is on the bottom of the pack. Placing heaver item on the top of the pack rather than the bottom reduces fatigue. To counter the weight I either carried my camera or I placed it in the top pocket.

This pack was everything I was looking for. It provides great prtotection for camera gear, and plenty of extra room for dayhiking necesseties. I was particularly looking for a camera pack that is hydration bladder compatible -- I appreciate this is located in a completely seperate compartment as the rest of the pack in event the bladder leaks, which is known to happen.

Comments about Clik Elite Venture 35 Backpack (24 x 12.2 x 8.6", Gray):
After trying different packs to carry all my gear for tactical rifle competitions I had a brain storm why not look at a photo backpack. A lot of the gear I carry is similar to camera gear. Range finders, binoculars, PDA, ammo, magazines, water, and tools need to be protected and keep organized for fast use.
I usually end up with a pack load out at 20lb-35lb plus a 17lb rifle depending on the day and have found the pack to be the most comfortable one I have ever own(or tried). The pockets and compartments are very well thought out and there are plenty of them. I also like the color it works well outdoor with out being "tact-cool".
Two areas that could use some improvement are decreasing the overall weight of the pack and a set of internal dividers that were tailored for shooters.

Comments about Clik Elite Venture 35 Backpack (24 x 12.2 x 8.6", Gray):
I am an avid outdoors man that spends every chance I get out in the field. After lots of research and searching for the perfect pack I decided that that the Venture 35 was what I was looking for. B & H got it right to me when I ordered it. I primarily use it for day hikes and storage.
It has plenty of room for all of my camera gear which includes my Canon T1I with a battery pack, with a 17X40L lens that fits perfectly. I also carry a 300mmL fixed and a 75x250 Zoom. There is lots of space for filters, cards, batteries and whatever else you want to stow away. In the large compartment I carry a rain jacket, a small survival pack, my lunch and sometimes a change of clothing or a jacket.
I am 6'2" and weigh 235. The pack was easily adjusted to fit. It is very comfortable to carry even when I have around 30 - 35 lbs in it. My longest hike was about 10 miles. I had no issues at all.
I bought a 100 ml water bladder which is very nice. If it is real hot there are 2 additional side pockets that I can stash water bottles in.
On one hiking trip in Utah I got caught in a small flash flood in a slot canyon. I used the rain cover to protect the pack and all of my gear while I climbed a waterfall to get out. It worked perfectly and kept everything 100% dry. I can't say the same about myself.
The built in Tripod holder works great and helps keep the load centered.
I highly recommend this pack.
