The Coleman 8x40 Waterproof Binocular features 8x magnification power and BAK4 porro prisms. It is suitable for camping, hunting, sports events and bird watching. The binocular is waterproof, fog proof and dustproof, ensuring smooth and tension-free operation even in harsh environments. The porro prism inner focus design helps deliver bright and vivid images with improved light transmission efficiency, and comes enclosed in a rubber-armored housing that provides extra protection in addition to offering a non-slip grip.

Use of high-definition optics, and multicoated eye and objective lenses ensures minimized aberration. Long eye relief provides enhanced field-of-view, reduces eye strain when viewing over long periods of time, and is especially useful for people wearing glasses. The binocular offers 6.3° angular field-of-view and 330' (100.58 m) linear filed-of-view @ 1000 yd (914.4m).
