Cam Caddie Scorpion EX Pro Kit

The Cam Caddie Scorpion EX Pro Kit is a complete support system for HDSLR and small video cameras, and aids for convenient shooting, whether handheld or tripod-mounted. Consisting of the entire Scorpion line of products, the EX Pro Kit allows you to shoot with multiple accessories from microphones to video lights to external monitors.

The Scorpion EX makes the backbone of the support system, and its unique design allows you to mount varieties of cameras on it. Made from a lightweight composite material with polymer grip, the Scorpion EX provides a comfortable and solid platform, and offers stable support dampening jerky movements like a camera stabilizer or Jib arm. The shock dampening ability renders the Scorpion kit ideal for capturing action events such as skateboarding, snowboarding, sports, corporate events, weddings, walkthroughs, etc.

Included accessory shoes can hold accessories such as flash units, Lite panels, microphones, XLR Inputs and external recording devices. The shoes can be adjusted to maximize weight distribution, thus ensuring enhanced operability. Quick release attachment further eases setting up your complete support system. Accessory wings come as help when you want to mount multiple accessories on your Scorpion Ex Pro support system. Using the wings, you can easily and quickly mount Lite panels, microphones, monitors & lavaliere transponders. The accessory wings can be mounted to any 1/4-20 thread. A ¼-20 Flashner is also included which can fit into any industry standard flash shoe platform (hot/cold), and allows you to attach a variety of accessories directly to your camera.

The included cheese plate lets you mount the Scorpion EX directly onto a tripod, allowing you to easily switch between handheld shooting and tripod without needing any adjustments to your setup.
