Comments about Delkin Devices SensorScope 3 Cleaning Kit:
This kit has a magnifying unit with a light for viewing the sensor, a vaccuum device, and cleaning pads with cleaning liquid. The magnifying unit works very well, and enables one to see specs of dirt easily, on all three sizes of sensor. The vaccuum, as many others have noted, seems mostly useless. The pads with solvent worked ok to remove specs, but it took three pads to do the job. Still, it accomplished what I needed to do, but I'll probably have to obtain additional cleaning pads in the future.

Comments about Delkin Devices SensorScope 3 Cleaning Kit:
My eyes are terrible and although I have a lot of loupes and such the scope really is necessary to determine what's happening as you clean. I tried the vacuum and I'm not sure if I accomplished anything but I was rushed so patience might prove to be a winner when using it. There were some spots that I couldn't remove and so I decided to go with a wet swab. That did the trick but again I was rushed and probably could have done a better job but I was happy that the huge boulders were off the sensor.
The case really is great to keep everything together. If you are air traveling it might add some bulk but if your car traveling, it's small enough to stash away somewhere and use in an emergency.
There might be better products out there but as an overall kit I think this should work for most people. Patience and a few cleanings will get you the experience you need to make it work the way it's intended.

Comments about Delkin Devices SensorScope 3 Cleaning Kit:
I have a Canon T1i and I switch my lenses all the time, in all kinds of conditions. I have been plagued with the dreaded specks on the sensor. Yes anyone can clean a sensor with the right tools. This kit is awesome. I gave it 4 stars because the vacuum was not so great. As stated in another review, it put more dust on the sensor than what was there when I started. I found everything else in the kit very useful. Directions are very easy to understand. The scope is awesome, I used it for looking at my lens also. The swabs worked great and there are 3 sizes. The T1i used the small swabs. The pen tool is very handy and sized correctly for tight work area. In addition to the kit I used my rocket blower. It took several trys, stay calm and just keep cleaning using the swab and the pen tool and re-checking with the scope. Took me about 10 minutes and my sensor is clean. Tested the camera and the spots are gone.
The kit comes in a very sturdy carrying case. This will be useful when traveling. Another great purchase from B&H. Side note: Shipping is so fast. Ordered one afternoon and was cleaning the sensor the next day at lunch time.

I'm on my 5th sensor cleaning since Jan/Feb '11. While I love my local Camera shop because they do a GREAT job at cleaning, at $50 a cleaning, it just get a bit expensive.
Why am I cleaning so much? Zoom lenses while shooting video. It's become a cost of doing business.
My biggest disappointment to date is the "vacuum". It looks like the right size, but the bristles seem to LEAVE more dust than the thing picks up. There's really not much suction to the thing. But perhaps I'm not using it right. If something changes here, I'll write a follow up.
The magnifying scope is actually pretty nice. LED lights inside the scope give a great even light to review the sensor. I wear pretty strong prescription glasses, so it may be just me, but it required me to be about 1/2"-1" away from the viewer to get a good focus. It'd be nice if there was some type of built in diopter, but I can forgive this minor defect.
The sensor brushes are disposable, but a nice build quality. You could just buy a set of those with the cleaner, but the sensor scope really is perfect for making sure the job was done right.

Does not work well with the Canon 5D MkII, since the area of view is so minimal. Focus is difficult and needs to be wide-field.
