This ThinkPad X1 13.3" Notebook Computer from Lenovo is a thin and light notebook computer that can get wireless just about anywhere. Unlike some other ThinkPad X1 models, this notebook can get wireless in a vast range of places because it features Gobi 3000 Mobile Broadband. The built-in Gobi 3000 card supports connections with a variety of 3G carriers, advanced radio frequency bands, and GPS.
The system weighs only 3.7 pounds and can operate for up to 5.2 hours on a single battery charge, making it an ideal system for on-the-go computing. It features a comfortable keyboard and Lenovo's UltraNav system for mousing. UltraNav combines a TrackPoint and a multi-gesture TouchPad for precise cursor control. For viewing content, this notebook features a 13.3" backlit-LED display with a 350 cd/m² brightness rating and a High-Definition resolution of 1366 x 768.
The computer is powered by a dual-core 2.5GHz Intel Core i5-2520M CPU, which can be overclocked to 3.2GHz via Intel Turbo Boost. It features 4GB of RAM, a blazing fast, cool, quiet 160GB solid state hard drive, integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics, Bluetooth 3.0+HS, and dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi. The integrated 720p HD webcam is designed for use in low-light, giving you a clear picture even in dim lighting conditions. Windows 7 Professional (64-bit) is the installed operating system.
