The External Mercury Pro 12x Blu-ray Combo Drive from Other World Computing can read and write Blu-ray, DVD and CD discs. It also has a quad interface with support for USB 2.0, eSATA and FireWire 400 / 800. The Plug & Play capabilities of the External Mercury Pro 12x Blu-ray Combo Drive allow it to be fully compatible with Apple iDVD 5 (or later), Apple iTunes, Roxio Toast and more.

I spent a while looking for a affordable Blu Ray backup burner to use with my Macbook Pro I stumbled across this one hoping It would be compatible, Easy to Use, and reliable. This product was all of those things, Plugged it in, opened up Toast. And burned 20 Blu Rays of backup within my first week. Each disc worked perfectly none of them failed. And it didnt take to long either. I would highly recommend this product, especially for backup purposes. Sure feels nice to have my data safe on more than just an external hd :)
