Comments about Hauppauge WinTV-Aero-m USB Mobile TV Tuner:
The installation was painless. I enjoy the design of the device with how the antenna pulls out and rotates. Just a little irratated that I was unable to even get a news broadcast channel like FOX or NBC. I was thinking that since I live here in Downtown Los Angeles that I could get a signal but I was wrong. The scans take about 4 minutes to find channels and out of about 10 scans I was able to get a single shopping channel about 3 times. I'm not sure if I should buy a amplified antenna or just throw start paying for Cable TV. Probably after I save enough cash to get my gaming desktop I'll use this on it and pay for cable.

Comments about Hauppauge WinTV-Aero-m USB Mobile TV Tuner:
Purchased this product because i was looking for a compact way to watch TV on my laptop. The win TV works very well, i can watch digital TV and mobile TV. The reception is very good with an external antenna attached. The reception is only ok with the retractable antenna. The only disappointments i have with the unit are that the remote does not work(I have not tried another battery yet), and the antenna pulled apart when i was extending it for use.If not for these two things i would have given it five stars. everything else works as stated.

Comments about Hauppauge WinTV-Aero-m USB Mobile TV Tuner:
Used for receiving and recording broadcast HDTV on a notebook PC.
Performance has been fault free and receiving range with telescoping antenna is surprisingly good.
Recording options are great. Also, with a 30 minute buffer it's one click to pause at any point and pick up again.
On hardware, no negatives; however ideally they would offer an optional thin, flexible coax cable in 4 and 8 foot lengths. On software, ease of use is great though it would be nice to have a built in edit and save function (to remove ads!).
