The Sony LMD-1510W Multi-format LCD Monitor (15.6”), with a widescreen LCD panel and 16.7 million colors, delivers high quality images at a resolution of up to 1366x768 (WXGA). With an aspect ratio of 16:9, the monitor can automatically adapt to the input resolution of the incoming video signal.
Equipped with RGB color filter and a 10-bit signal processing engine, the Multi-format LCD Monitor offers 109% peak white signal reproduction without clipping and a smooth grey scale. It features safety area markers in 80%, 85%, 88%, 90%, and 93% sizes. In addition, the LCD monitor also features a center marker and an aspect marker. Featured Picture delay minimum mode reduces I/P (interlaced to progressive conversion) conversion times for audio synchronization. By selecting the line doubler in I/P mode, it is possible to achieve signal processing periods less than 1 field (0.5 frames).
Using the optional BKM-341HS Adaptor, the Multi-format LCD Monitor can handle both HD-SDI /SD-SDI inputs. It features SD (standard definition) inputs such as composite NTSC/PAL, Y/C (S-Video), 525i/625i component, and RGB. In addition, the LCD monitor also features a HDMI input to offer HD (high definition) signal functionality.
The Multi-format LCD Monitor supports signal formats such as NTSC, PAL, component, RGB, Y/C, 480/60i, 575/50i, 480/60p, 576/50p, 1080/50i, 1080/60i, 720/50p, 720/60p, 1080/24psf, 1080/25psf, 1080/24p, 1080/25p, and 1080/30p. In addition, it also supports standard definition signals with the help of an optional SD-SDI input adaptor.
Featured aspect ratio settings allow for switching between 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. The Blue Only mode switches off red and green scan guns to produce an image made only from a blue scan gun. In addition, you can select the desired scan size from Normal scan (0%), Over-scan (5%), and Full scan modes. Equipped with a tally lamp that can be switched on using a parallel remote connector, you can identify the signal status on the monitor screen by 3 tally colors (red, green, or amber). In addition to center marker, the monitor features 4:3 and 16:9 markers for Over-scan and Normal-scan display.
The Multi-format LCD Monitor can be controlled remotely via a programmable parallel remote interface. In addition, you can operate the monitor unit on the sync signal supplied from an external sync generator. Built-in mono speaker enables simple sound monitoring without having to connect any additional audio equipment. With VESA (100 x 100mm) mounting, it can be mounted on a desktop or on a wall/ceiling.
