The WR-300 S.A.M.E. Weather / All Hazards Alert Monitor With AM/FM Radio from Midland is an all-purpose clock radio that allows you to receive important updates to keep you and your loved ones safe from tornadoes, flash floods, severe summer storms and more. It employs S.A.M.E. technology and 7 pre-programmed NOAA channels to keep you informed of extreme weather alerts. Added conveniences include an alert override, the fact that you can add and remove alerts, a programmable siren level and the choice between three alert types: voice, display or tone. Plus, you can program up to 23 counties.

The large, backlit LCD display makes it easy to read the date and time -- and the radio functions as an AM/FM radio as well as an alarm clock with snooze button. So you can keep it by the bed for everyday use or take it along on family picnics or other outings to use as a radio. Since it can function on batteries, you can still receive important information even in the event of a power outage. This radio is ideal for use in basements, family gathering spots or anywhere else it's important to receive extreme weather and hazardous conditions updates.
