You can use the Depth effect with Buena Depth Cue v2 to create grayscale depth maps. While working on your footage using Adobe After Effects 6.5 and later, you can pre-compose the depth for your video clip increasing the efficacy of your lens blur effect. With support for multiple compound blur effects, the Depth effect for Buena Depth Cue v2 Plug-in allows you to pull a rack focus effect on your post-production video footage.

With the Falloff Lighting effect, you can simulate the way a light source's output diminishes over a distance casting shadows wherever required. The Atmosphere effect allows you to simulate the way human vision fades over a distance making objects seem distant and unclear.
