The Epson Artisan 730 All-In-One Printer prints 9.6 pages per minute in black and 9.1 in color. The small 1.5 picoliter ink drop size and MicroPiezo technology ensure fast photo printing and photo lab quality. The printer uses Epson's 6-color Claria Hi-Definition dye-based ink.
The smart touch panel makes it easy to operate the printer allowing you to perform functions such as photocopy, print from a memory card, and even crop or reorient photos. Like its predecessors, the Artisan 730 lets you print directly on a CD or DVD; no need to buy an expensive disc printer or spend time attaching a label.
The printer has multiple connectivity options beyond a simple USB connection. Like its predecessor, it has wireless and wired network connectivity. It also has the ability to print directly from an iPhone, iPad, and most smartphones using Epson Connect.

I was looking for an inkjet printer that prints on CD/DVD. I would say this is the perfect one for me. Great price, and very easy operation. I did not really have to look at its instruction to make a first print. Print quality is great, too.

I used the Artisan 730 All-in-One Printer by Epson for a Reunion Celebration. I am a photographer and was able to supply the guests with instant photos at the event. The printer is extremely easy to use and the quality of the photos are outstanding! I am so satisfied with the printer that i purchased 2 of them.

Comments about Epson Artisan 730 All-In-One Printer:
Was unable to set up this printer. Repeatedly got paper jam notice when printer not yet used. After following directions to clear the jam, I found the paper feed loose from its rod. After a couple of failed attempts to remount it, I decided the product was defective. Also felt the product was poorly constructed.

I bought the printer for personal use at home. It was easy to sey up, print quality is excellent, and the Wi-fi interface works well. It's also smaller than my last printer, yet has th same functionality.

Comments about Epson Artisan 730 All-In-One Printer:
Though the footprint is a little big (it's an all-in-one), the Artisan 730 is a great value. Other than needing to download the drivers to support Mac Lion, we literally plugged in the printer, took it through the prescribed start up sequence and started printing documents and photos. Color prints were sharp and well balanced.

Comments about Epson Artisan 730 All-In-One Printer:
Setting up the printer was easy, and print quality and speed are excellent. Menus are easy to navigate. Printing from mobile devices is easy as well. The printer appears to be well built and durable, with the exception of the paper tray which feels flimsy.
I am very pleased with my Espson 730 so far. However, I wish the ink cartridges had more capacity, and were cheaper.

I wanted a printer to start honing my photography skills. But I also wanted a scanner and copier. I got all that for a great price.
The color is brilliant. It is very professional looking.

Comments about Epson Artisan 730 All-In-One Printer:
I love that I don't have to turn on the computer by the printer in order to print from another room. I also like being able to print on the front and the back of a page automatically. With this printer, I don't have to put the paper back in the printer and hope the even pages print on the correct odd numbered pages. I set the printer to automatically print on the front and the back and it does it. The bad thing about this printer is it requires six different color cartridges. I wish the black ink cartridge was larger because that's the one I use all the time.

Comments about Epson Artisan 730 All-In-One Printer:
This is a great printer. I have tried just about all the printers in this class, as well as large format printers. The 730 was very easy to set up. I'm going wireless with Mac OSX 10.7 Lion. If your installation disk does not say 10.7 on it, do not install the disk. Instead, go to the Epson website and click on Drivers and Support. Then don't click on Printers & All In Ones, yet, but look on the right hand side where it says Highlights, and under that click on Mac OSX Lion Support, then choose your printer from the drop down list. It doesn't take long to download and the rest is very easy. You will need a USB A to B cable to use the scanner since the scanner does not support wireless. The scanner works very well. The 730 prints very clean, clear text but I was blown away by the color 4x6 prints, as good as any lab. The only very minor thing, in case your wondering, is how does it print b&w photo's? Well, to be honest, there is a very slight color cast. It's not horrible, but it's not great. Color photos are excellent but the b&w is not true b&w. The other thing I loved is the print speed. It takes 4 seconds or quicker to print a one 4x6 photo. And once again B&H is second to none when it comes to customer service and delivery. As a professional photographer, I only use B&H Photo. The people there are extremely helpful and nice.

This printer is amazing. It prints photographs beautifully, prints two sided when required, and scans very nicely. All without any wired connection.
The paper tray does seem to be a little flimsy, though.

Comments about Epson Artisan 730 All-In-One Printer:
Main use is for CD and DVD label printing. However, the Internet printing ability allows printing from anywhere. Print Quality and speed is exceptional. Reviews say it uses lots of ink, but haven't noticed unusual consumption. Purchased continuous ink system for use after starter cartridges run dry. The printer has a large footprint, but seems reasonable for scanner and stationary ink supply. Great printer.
