The Live! Cam inPerson HD Webcam from Creative Labs is a webcam that offers you sterling, top-flight performance with your computer. This webcam mounts with a multi-attach base and connects to your computer via USB 2.0 and can stream HD 720p video during video calls*. It can also record full widescreen HD 1080p quality video. Whether recording or streaming video, this webcam utilizes an autofocus lens so your images look and stay sharp. Plus, if want to take photos, it has a snapshot button for quick 12MP snapshots.
Specifically designed for exceptional performance during webcalls or chats, this webcam features four microphones that support beam-forming as well as noise-cancelling technologies that, in turn, eliminate ambient noise in the background. To boot, this webcam is Skype certified, so that you can rest assured that your experience in Skype will be up to snuff. You can also communicate over other compatible instant messaging applications as well, though. This webcam supports plug-and-chat with Windows, Mac OS X 10.5, and Linux 2.6.
To add spice to video chats, the bundled Windows compatible software includes Live! Central 3, which offers audio and visual effects, avatars, as well as movie creation. Also bundled are two trial-versions of surveillance applications.

This camera randomly crashes Skype, period. Different OS's, different hardware, same result. Tried Win7x64, Win7x32, and even XP x32. When Skype switches to this camera, it works for anywhere between a few seconds and a few minutes, then crashes the app. 1080p Logitech is a hundred bucks less, far more reliable, and has a better lens. Don't get duped like I was - you don't always get what you pay for.

The product is not bad. The resolution is great. I hope I don't have problem. This product is new? Not on the vendor's web site. There no live support. No telephone support. This is an expensive product I expected better service. It works with MAC OS. That's
