Comments about ASUS ML249H 24" MVA LED Backlit Widescreen Computer Monitor:
I do a moderate amount of photo editing and gaming. I was looking for something decent in the $300 range and after a lot of research and review reading, I settled for this monitor - getting an MVA panel for such a low cost seemed like a dream come true... As I said, photo editing was why I got this and as such, sharpness and color accuracy is generally a concern. The screen was just...bleh. Photos which normally displayed very fine, sharp details no longer did. The monitor had no sharpness settings. Everything was connected properly (I used a high quality HDMI) and all graphical settings were set accordingly. I even tried my PS3 out and same thing - the little particles that float around in the back of the main menu? Bleh. Reading text was worse. My whole experience with this screen made me feel as though I needed glasses... but when I switched back to my 17" laptop screen or 40" LED TV, the feeling went away. I didn't dock any stars for this but, the colors were off also off quite a bit. After several hours of manually adjusting, I still couldn't get it close. This isn't really a negative for people who have calibrators or don't mind contrasty, slightly inaccurate color. I'm sure if I was more competent with color management, I'd be able to get it.Perhaps I got a dud or perhaps I'm being too picky - but in either case, I returned this and am back on the hunt. I'm sure that for many people who don't care that much about the image quality, this minitor would be perfect but for those seeking clarity - keep looking.

Comments about ASUS ML249H 24" MVA LED Backlit Widescreen Computer Monitor:
I purchased this monitor for my home.
I first got impressed with it while checking out other monitors in a showroom.
The first quality that pulled me to buy this monitor is its clarity. The COMPLETE 24" diagonal dimension was another reason to choose this.
The color quality is impeccable -- there is no over-saturation -- and the calibration couldn't be more perfect.
It has two inputs - a VGA and HDMI input -- and you can't really ask for more. The monitor comes with a DVI-to-HDMI cable -- that will hook up to your mac's mini-display port to DVI convertor...
Installation is extremely easy.
You wouldn't be disappointed.

Comments about ASUS ML249H 24" MVA LED Backlit Widescreen Computer Monitor:
Purchased because I was looking for an affordable monitor to use for photo editing, and so far I am very impressed. Contrast/ color reproduction is spot on, and viewing angle is pretty good as well. And the HDMI slot (comes with a HDMI to DV-I cable as well) is very useful.

Comments about ASUS ML249H 24" MVA LED Backlit Widescreen Computer Monitor:
This is an upgrade from an old 15 inch flat screen so I am seeing a whole new world. Using for editing photos so color stability is important. Only had it for a short time but so far so good.
