Comments about ASUS VE258Q 25" LED Backlit Widescreen Computer Monitor:
Used as a general purpose office monitor.
It is easy to setup and the controls are also easy to use.
The screen is bright and vibrant.
The extra 1" (this is a non-standard 25" vs the much easier to get 24" wide screen) does help in defining those small point fonts.

Comments about ASUS VE258Q 25" LED Backlit Widescreen Computer Monitor:
I use this as a primary display in a dual display setup on a Mac Pro. The extra pixel real estate works great for my profession. Seems that a lot of these cheaper style monitors are all stuck at the 1920x1080 resolution. It's like you'd have to go up to 30" and spend over $1,000.00 to get any higher resolution. I did find one maker that uses 1920x1200 on 25-27" displays...then you're getting into $300+. Shop carefully is all I can say! I do like this display though...very nice Asus!

Comments about ASUS VE258Q 25" LED Backlit Widescreen Computer Monitor:
I use the monitor as my primary monitor through an HDMI port. I use it next to a Hanspree model and to be honest the Asus has a much cleaner and more saturated picture. The adjustment settings are also very good.
There is one dead pixel in the bottom right of the screen, but i hardly notice it.

Comments about ASUS VE258Q 25" LED Backlit Widescreen Computer Monitor:
I got the monitor because it has plenty of input outlets especially displayport to be used as a secondary monitor with my Laptop which has a displayport output. It comes with NO displayport cables but I got one for [$]and it works perfectly since then. It suits my tech work and the sound is output through the displayport too so no need for the audio input cable.Assembly took little effort but adjusting the angle seemed challenging but I figured out I need to hold it down while moving the monitor angle. So far I'm pleased with the experience.
