With the Sachtler Combi Pedestal System, simply "take it with you!" Built in a modular compact design, the Combi Pedestal is perfect for OB and Studio work; it can support up to 121.3 lb (55 kg). The dolly is fully capable of complete crab-and-steer movement, allowing the camera operator to switch between one of three wheel controls. All bearings and guides are maintenance-free, making the system extremely reliable.
The pedestal and dolly are so easy to put together that it can be accomplished in less than a minute without any tools whatsoever! Just connect the locks, engage the steering column, and you are ready to go in a matter of seconds.
- Payload Capacity
- The Combi Pedestal can hold up to 121.3 lb (55 kg), making it an ideal performer for most cameras.
- Air Pressurized Pneumatic Column
- The pedestal is anchored by a pneumatic column. The system works on the principle of compressed air, which acts as a counterweight and allows for quick height adjustments. The Combi comes equipped with a built-in air pump, eliminating the need for pressure cylinders or pressure filling stations.
- Easily Transportable
- When in its folded position, the unit can easily be carried by one person, making this pedestal truly a "go-anywhere" piece of equipment no camera operator should be without.
- Steering Ring
- Crab and steer movement is achieved by using the provided detachable Steering Ring. Toggle between one and three wheel controls with ease.
- Wheel Overload System
- Each wheel case has an overload protection mechanism, realigning the wheels again after just half a turn of the steering wheel. All bearings and guides are maintenance-free.
