The EIZO FlexScan SX2762W 27" LCD Monitor is a 2560 x 1440 (16:9) high def display with many attractive features. Not the least of which is the EIZO EasyPIX color matching tool (included) for calibrating the monitor to match your prints with the colors you see on the screen. Consistent use of the calibrator will ensure beautiful photos and less frustration for the life of the monitor. Of course, speaking of calibration also brings up the color gamut of the SX2762W, which is certainly wide, reproducing 95% of the Adobe RGB color space. The monitor has an sRGB mode as well.
When it comes to ports, this FlexScan monitor has 1 DVI-D port and a DisplayPort, as well as a Mini DisplayPort for both digital and analog signals. The screen also features a 6ms response time that ensures movies are sharp and blur-free. Other important highlights include a swivel and tilt FlexStand for precise adjustment of the screen, 10 to 16-bit color, and brightness optimization. Preset modes, the on-screen button guide, and color control also come to your aid for the best image possible. EIZO also backs the display with a 5-year limited warranty, providing you with peace-of-mind in your investment.

Comments about Eizo FlexScan SX2762W 27" LCD Monitor:
The eizo sx2762 monitor is a serious monitor for editing digital images, the display looks pretty much the same from different angles though serious acute angles the screen will darken as with other nonphotograde monitors. The set is a bit confusing as you need the USB adaptercord that comes with this model( the one with easypix calibration tool). The USB plugs into the monitor and the other end goes into a free USB port in your computer. Not really explained why the mechanics of it in any great detail. The easypix calibrator plugs into the computer, after the software is installed. The monitor itself has 8 viewing modes which you can select from the buttons on the front panel.
it gets tricky after the calibration is done, because the display when viewing a reference photo looks awful afterwards.NOt sure if the was supposed to be optimized before calibration or afterwards. there are user modes Easypix calls up for calibration.Don't know if you calibrate 1 for a total of 3 times for each mode. Theres also the sRGB mode, adobeRGBmodes to add to the mix.plus the gamma setting , do you set monitor color to 6500K?
.after all that you save it as a profile and Adobe CS5 is supposed to know its there. Then the fun really starts when you try to calibrate to custom white balance on your camera. Setting the point on a raw file is an adventure, the carefully calibrated colors look....a bit off. I know Eizo makes great monitors but getting it to work with image editing programs is problematic.I still haven't tried creating a printer profile yet,
Eventually I will get it to work, whether I did it right I'll never know. Too many adjustments
