The OCZ 1.2TB VeloDrive PCI-Express Solid State Drive offers transfer speeds of up to 1GB/s, features X8 slot low profile with full height bracket form factor, and allows up to 130000 IOPS with 4K random write. It supports 4xSATA and utilizes a SandForce processor to deliver reliability, endurance, security, and intelligent block management and wear-leveling.
With the ability to run both hardware and software, the RAID mode increases the overall performance of the SSD, makes it easy to accommodate existing usage models and minimizes the impact on system resources. The VeloDrive PCI-Express 1.2TB SSD can be used for half-height or full-height system requirements as well as for low profile bracket option.
Eliminating the SATA/SAS bottleneck, the VeloDrive PCI-Express 1.2TB SSD utilizes MLC NAND flash, and offers compatibility with Windows 7, XP, Vista, and Linux.
