The Gefen 8 x 8 Crosspoint Matrix for HDMI 1.3 allows you to route any 8 HD sources and multichannel digital audio to any 8 HDTV displays independently. It supports resolutions up to 1080p Full HD with 12-bit Deep Color.
With an 8 x 8 Crosspoint Matrix, you are no longer required to disconnect and reconnect HDMI sources and displays. It features LPCM 7.1 audio, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Master Audio. The unit supports 3DTV, Lip-Sync Pass Through, and DVI Sources/DVI Displays with an HDMI-to-DVI adaptor. Equipped with FST Technology that authenticates HDMI and HDCP sources, it is able to eliminate flashing. It features both fast and slow FST modes.
Advanced EDID management helps in easy integration of sources and display devices. The front panel LCD display can be used to select any of the HD sources via the front-panel push-button, IR remote control, or the RS-232 serial control. The 8 x 8 Crosspoint Matrix also includes a Gefen EXT-RMT-EXTIR jack for the IR Extender.
