Comments about Porta Brace AR-ZH4 Case for Zoom H4/H4n:
It's the only case that really enabled me to fix the zoom to a boom pole. It does the trick, but the cables are in the way. Could have been better taught and built (for the price). On a belt it is much better. It is useful, but Porta Brace could have done a better product.

It seems to be very durable and my recorder it´s well protected.
The only thing i don´t understand is why it does not come with a strap so i can carry it in a more comfortable way....

I've been looking for a product to hold the zoom H4n by a belt. This works perfectly for me.

Comments about Porta Brace AR-ZH4 Case for Zoom H4/H4n:
H4n recorder purchased to augment video recording. Porta Brace Case was purchased to protect the recorder but it is worthless--at any price. Velcro panels on either side open to expose the connectors - if both sides are open simultaneously, the case is no longer snugly fit to the recorder. If using the AC adapter, the Porta Brace case covers the plug on the recorder. The clear vinyl 'window' is stiff and wavy making it difficult to see the LED display on the recorder.
Comments about Porta Brace AR-ZH4 Case for Zoom H4/H4n:
Though not perfect, it is pretty close. And the reason it's not perfect? Because I got a little annoyed while slipping it on and figuring it out. Someone else might not have gotten as annoyed as I did, maybe, if they'd gotten a little more sleep. But, the tight fit and lack of instructions and bunch of straps ended up annoying me. I have, however figured it out since, and it's very convenient.

Comments about Porta Brace AR-ZH4 Case for Zoom H4/H4n:
Porta Brace cases have a reputation for durability and all-around functionality and this case is no exception. It feels solid and has some great extra features (Cover extension for XLR ports and Internal Mics) The only thing that detracts from this case is the fact a few essential ports are rendered inoperable. Access to the headphone port is cutoff by the side flap and the ext. mic port on the back of the H4n is impossible to reach while in the case. I'm considering punching a hole in mine for the headphone port but it seems like an obvious problem that Porta Brace overlooked.

Comments about Porta Brace AR-ZH4 Case for Zoom H4/H4n:
Bought a full sound rig last week. Picked up the H4n because lots of friends were using it for film. I wanted a case so I could have one sound guy on the production. To many things to hold. Got this case. Its just junk. Barely fits. Can't see the screen that well. For the money you will be disappointed.

Comments about Porta Brace AR-ZH4 Case for Zoom H4/H4n:
The Porta-Brace AR-ZH4 case is made specifically to protect the ZOOM H4N. It does what it is designed for pretty well. The H4N fits "snugingly" in the bag, but you still have access to all its buttons and the LCD display. Also protects the built-in mic from the elements if you are not using it. I guess as with other Porta-Brace bags, this is water (rain) resistant, but haven't tried using it in a rainy
environment yet . Bottom line - am happy with this purchase.
