I purchased this adapter before a trip to Yellowstone National Park as a means of saving money. I have six SD cards for a motion camera, but I wanted some more memory to store images on my Canon 40D. The adapter, had it worked, would have provided me with 48 extra gigs of memory. After using the card, images would not play back. instead a giant question mark would appear on the screen. I had to trust that the playback issue was separate from the recording function on the card. I was partially right. Only random selection of images made it to the hard drive. The rest were unrecognized by the computer, including some of my favorite shots. Don't waste your money on this fickle junk if you value your own peace of mind.

I have an early digital camera, Canon G2 that I use for interiors of homes for sale. The G2 takes the compact flash card which has become hard to find and expensive when found. Enter this wonderful tool, that works like a charm.
I have had zero problems, and have saved over 50% when buying easy to find, often on sale, SD cards.

Product did not work at all with a cannon 10D. I had told the customer rep. this was the model camera I wanted to use it with when ordering.

Comments about Jobo SD/SDHC/SDXC to Compact Flash Type II Adapter:
This converter card, did the trick for us. On a documentary production I did recently, we shot with a lot of EX1 cameras and used tons of SDCARD. So when we needed some 7D HD shots. we got this SDCARD2CF and could use the same sdcards and not interrupt the flow of our production pipeline between our locations and the post-production office.

If you have the Nikon D700 this does not work. [...]Out side of that, it looks well made and should work if you have a unit that will take it slightly thicker make.

Comments about Jobo SD/SDHC/SDXC to Compact Flash Type II Adapter:
I purchased this converter because my D300s has only one SD slot and one CF slot. Instead of spending more money buying CF cards I decided it would be nice to just get a converter, allowing me to use my 16 gig card along with my 8 gig card. Apparently the converter is too thick to fit into the CF slot in my camera. Bottom line, if you have a Nikon D300s don't buy this specific converter..look for another one.
