The Slik Pro 700BH AMT 3-Section Tripod with Pro 800 Ball Head is a versatile tripod system for DSLR and point & shoot cameras – with its 2-section center column and 3-section legs fully extended and the head attached, the Pro 700BH AMT reaches a maximum working height of 74.8". That brings it to eye level for all but the basketball centers among us. Meanwhile, that 2-section center column and a wide maximum leg deployment angle make it possible to achieve very low heights – even with the head attached you can shoot from just 15.5" off the ground.

The included Pro 800 ball head features separate controls for tilt lock, pan lock, and tension, making ultra-fine adjustments very easy to execute. The Pro 800 pans a full 360° and tilts 90° for portrait orientation. The head features a dual-locking quick-release mechanism and includes a circular camera plate with a cork pad.

Using a "Tri-Titanium" aerospace alloy compromised of aluminum, magnesium, and titanium, the kit's Slik 700DX Pro legs have a strength-to-weight ratio 40% greater than comparable tripods in its class. This is a professional unit whether you're concerned with strength, fit and finish, or refinement of operation. The rapid-type center column cannot rotate accidentally, and the lever locks work securely with a minimum of movement.

The 700DX has foam-padded upper segments to ease carrying on your shoulder and working in the cold, and its simple angled rubber leg tips give a firm footing.

The system weighs approximately 7.5 lb and supports up to 11 lbs, making it an appropriate choice for any point & shoot camera model or DLSRs outfitted with lenses smaller than 300mm f/2.8 or the equivalent.
