The black/gun metal 7 Million Dollar Home Bag from Crumpler is slightly larger than their 6 Million Dollar Home Bag but still remains a get-around shoulder bag designed to hold a standard DSLR camera and lenses plus accessories like an extra battery and memory cards. The tough 900-Denier exterior fabric is water-resistant and is complimented by a brushed padded nylon interior that is constructed not to hurt the finish of your equipment. The inside of the bag can be configured by using the movable touch fastened dividers.

The bag is held in shape by its EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) laminated base while the entire bag is protected by a large front flap that is secured with rugged tri-glide buckles. The adjustable, wide 50mm (2") shoulder strap with its anti-slip pad or the EVA and ergonomically shaped padded carry handle make toting it around comfortable. For added functionality, the touch fasteners have been designed to be silent by utilizing a silencer flap on the underside that is designed not to attract attention when you open the bag in public. No more of that "ripping" sound when the touch fasteners are engaged. As an added feature, the 7 Million Dollar Home Bag gives you a pair of side accessory loops on which you can attach other photo gear - perhaps a cleaning cloth, media card holder or mini tripod.

There are two extra side stuff pockets that you'll appreciate since you will not have to open the entire bag to reach their contents. For all sorts of smaller accessories, there's an additional internal zippered mesh pocket. This is a rugged street bag created to meet the demands of people who need a durable shoulder bag that holds your gear with a maximum of protection.

Touch Fastener Silencer
Lurking behind the bag's gi-normous touch fastened flap is an equally large touch fastener silencer flap. Pull it out. Press it in position. Open and close on the QT, then lock down with the compression straps
Flexible, Accessible Space
The main compartment features two configurable touch fastened and brushed padded nylon dividers, plus a separate zippered mesh pocket. The dual zone front pocket features gusseted sides. You can access the side stuff pockets without even opening the bag
Wide, Adjustable Shoulder Strap
The more gear you carry, the more you need a wide shoulder strap with an anti-slip shoulder pad to distribute its weight - and the more you'll appreciate the 7 Million Dollar Home's soft but strong 50mm (2.0") flamed polypropylene strap webbing. Complete with tri-glide buckle system
Carry Handle
EVA foam provides excellent comfort. It's shaped to fit your hand and fingers for ease of transport
Accessory Loops
The reinforced side accessory loops lets you attach other photo gadgetry for instant access
Waterproofing
Be it rain, hail, sleet, snow, beer or mixed drinks, the bag's 900D outer is designed to weather the storm and keep your equipment dry
Anti-Abrasive Surface
The 900D outer and brushed padded nylon interior combine phenomenal strength with exceptional smoothness and malleability. Your clothes don't catch and your equipment won't get scratched

The polyethylene-EVA foam laminate base insert ensures the bag holds its shape even when loaded - while the curved flap keeps everything under cover

Comments about Crumpler 7 Million Dollar Home Bag (13.6 x 11 x 8.27", Black/Gun Metal):

I think this is the perfect camera bag for my style of photography! Before this, I've always used the backpack/slingpack style bags but found that it was just too cumbersome to access my equipment. I decided to try this shoulder bag for my "on-the-go" setup and was delighted to find that it is well-suited to be my "all-the-time" bag. Here are some of the highlights:

(1) It holds much more gear than I ever imagined it would without being excessively large. In it I carry a Canon 5D Mark II with a battery grip and Really Right Stuff L-plate attached, a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L (mounted on body), Canon 70-200 f/2.8L with tripod collar and Really Right Stuff plate, Canon 17-40 f/4L, lens hoods for all lenses, Canon 580EX II flash, Lee Foundation Kit, three 4x6 filters and two circular filters, and many other accessories. There's still room to spare for more accessories if need be.

(2) Very easy to access all of the gear quickly.

(3) Relatively light compared to the Lowepro backpacks because the weight is SO well-distributed. I can easily pick it up by the attached handle, and it sits perfectly flat on the floor when I put it down. Very well-balanced and doesn't topple over.

(4) Comfortable strap

(5) Sturdy construction

(6) The velcro silencers are awesome for times when you need to work quietly (weddings especially).

(7) Inconspicuous, so it doesn't stand out to potential thieves.

(8) Sleek and stylish design

The only downside is that it's fairly expensive, but you get what you pay for. I absolutely LOVE this bag and I think I'll be using it for a long time to come!

    Comments about Crumpler 7 Million Dollar Home Bag (13.6 x 11 x 8.27", Black/Gun Metal):

I needed a good grab-n-go bag in addition to my rolling gear bag. This bag is just right for carrying a few lenses, CF cards, flash and the body. I don;t expect it always hold everything. That's what my other case is for. But once I'm on location, I park my rolling case and grab the equipment I'll need and I'm good and mobile w/o having to go back and forth to the big case.
