The system is no slouch when it comes to multimedia. Its Blu-ray ROM drive allows you to watch the latest Hollywood blockbusters and classic movies alike -- all in stunning HD resolution. It can also read and write DVDs and CDs. The Pavilion also features a built-in TV tuner, which allows you to use the computer as a DVR. You use it with the included software bundle to watch, record, pause, and rewind live TV -- right on your desktop.
The computer features a 15-in-1 memory card reader, allowing you to import pictures and files from virtually any type of digital camera memory card. Integrated 802.11n Wi-Fi gets you online without the hassle of connecting an Ethernet cable to your router, allowing you to more easily find a place in your home for the PC.
The computer is loaded with the HP LinkUp software suite. This makes it easy to sync data between your HP notebook and desktop system. It also includes Windows Live Essentials and a trial version of Norton Internet Security.
The system is powered by a six-core 3.2GHz AMD Phenom II 1090T CPU. It boasts 10GB of RAM and a 1.5TB 5400rpm hard drive. The AMD Radeon HD 6670 GPU features 1GB of dedicated GDDR5 memory, giving you enough visual horsepower to drive the latest 3D computer games. Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is the installed operating system.
