Looxcie 2 Wearable Camcorder
While you may not be able to tell by looking at it, the Looxcie 2 Wearable Camcorder is actually a video recorder that fits over your ear and lets you record anything you see, share video clips with friends, and even doubles as a Bluetooth headset -- meanwhile weighing less than an ounce, and measuring 3 inches long. In fact, its petite size is what sets it apart from its counterpart, the original Looxcie. It features the same battery capacity, video capture and sharing capabilities, but weighs about 20 percent less and is almost half the size of this original model.
You wear this unique camcorder over your ear to record video of everything you see, letting you capture and share life as you see it in full 480p video at 30 fps. Then, you can instantly email clips or post them to Facebook, YouTube, or Twitter. Designed for seamless pairing with an iPhone or compatible Android phone, the Looxcie 2 is compatible with two mobile apps, LooxcieCam and Looxcie Moments. These make it possible for you to record video and upload it to your phone or computer, as well as share short clips via social media sites and email when you're on the go.
You can capture up to five hours of video and create and save hundreds of instant clips from this video to the internal flash storage. Since the Looxcie 2 doubles as a Bluetooth headset, that's one less device you have to carry around in your bag. When you answer calls while capturing video, the unit automatically mutes the audio on the video to keep your calls private. Additional features include interchangeable earbuds, flexible positioning options for your right or left side, active noise cancellation and talk time of up to 10 hours.

The kit comes with two earloops to hold the Looxcie over your ear. They are made of plastic and easily break at their weakest point. Both my loops broke after I placed the Looxcie in my shoulder bag. I looked for replacements ... NONE AVAILABLE ANYWHERE !!! Now, I have a stick-camera that can no longer "fit over my ear" ...

The product as such is very nice but the way you are supposed to attach it to your ear is worst I have ever seen. It is strange as bluetooth earpieces are on the markets for years. The guys who created the product just did a lousy job with ear piece. Because of that it is
- UNCOMFORTABLE to wear;
- you CAN NOT attach it firmly to your ear/head and this result in poor image, actually this makes it USELESS for the purpose they advertise it.
Would HIGHLY DISCOURAGE PURCHASING of the item till they fix the way it is attached to your ear.

The Looxcie Camcorder is a wonderful innovative product that impresses everyone I've shared it with. It produces great videos. It has especially come in handy as I'm playing with my young niece - being able to capture those special moments while still having both hands to interact with her. The video quality is surprisingly good for such a small device. The playback is a bit delayed a times but it's because of the frames per second settings. The most exciting feature is Looxcie's iOS app that allows my iPhone and iPad to act as the viewfinder. I found this feature to be wonderful!

Attaches to my ears a lot better than the LX1. I love the black color and it is also lighter than the LX1. I use it to record my 2 kids (10 months and 2.5 years old). I do not want to miss those nice and unexpected moments when they happen.
