The Velbon MAXi 347GB BL 4-Section Aluminum Tripod with PHD-31Q Panhead is an extremely space-efficient camera support system for a DSLR or other camera. (Black in color, this is the "BL" version of the older 347GB model.
Featuring Velbon's patented Trunnion Shaft system, the MAXi 347GB is able to get both extremely tall and extremely compact. Each leg section collapses fully into the section immediately above it, resulting in the optimal ratio between extended length and folded length. The tripod extends to a generous working height of 62.4" yet folds down to just 16.8", which makes for easy storage in a carry-on bag. It's lightweight, too: the tripod weighs just 2.6 lb.
The tripod features a geared center column for precise height adjustments and a center brace for added stability. Sufficiently sturdy & supremely compact, the MAXi 347GB BL is an ideal travel tripod for small cameras, supporting loads up to 4.4 lb.
