Charges very fast, and automatically, as soon as you place it in the docking station. Thought it would be bigger, but is thin and small. Still love it though.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Touchstone Charging Dock for TouchPad:
The charging dock was smaller than I anticipated, but is very sturdy and doesn't slip around on my kitchen counter top (quartz). This allows me to charge my TouchPad and use it as an electronic photo frame simultaneously. If I need to look up a recipe, the TouchPad is easily accessible and at an easily readable angle. Also works great on the nightstand next to the bed with the clock, alarm or photo option. TouchPad can be placed horizontally or vertically on the stand while charging. Great accessory for the TouchPad.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Touchstone Charging Dock for TouchPad:
It was smaller than I was expecting. I thought (from the pictures) that it would be almost as big as the Touchpad itself. However, it worked just like advertised. Great to keep my and my wife's fire-sale touchpads charged.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Touchstone Charging Dock for TouchPad:
This is way easier to use than the using the cord.
Just place the TouchPad in the Dock and it starts charging. By default is will go into exhibition mode, but, you can install a program to bring up a prompt after it's been docked to select from exhibition or "just charge". You can dock in either landscape or portrait, but, it is possible to dock upside down. If it's upside down, no charge will occur. But you do get a beep notifying charging has started.
Other than that, there isn't much you can do wrong.
The dock a bonus can be used as stand as well. The support leg is adjustable to pretty much any angle and closes to flat except for the bottom lip. Easily stored in your luggage without taking up much space.
Dock comes with attached cord and power supply, you can keep the dock plugged and keep you power supply that came with your TouchPad with the USB Cord for portable use.
Using this with Android in the Alpha will require you to turn off the the screen. I'm using the Cyanogen Mod 7 Alpha. Android isn't mature enough to maintain a charge. By the time it gets to Beta, hopefully this will be resolved. No problems with in WebOS configuration.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Touchstone Charging Dock for TouchPad:
The charging dock makes keeping your Touchpad charged much easier than having to plug the ac adapter into the wall and then the usb cable into the charger and then into the Touchpad. You just leave the charging dock plugged into the AC wall socket and set your Touchpad onto the dock. Your Touchpad is always charged and ready to go.
The greatest thing about the dock is the ease of keeping your Touchpad charged. And you can still use it even with the HP case. You can also use it for easier reading on the Touchpad at the proper angle.
About the only thing not so great is that the dock could be a little wider to hold the Touchpad a little more securely, but I haven't had any problems myself, and the small size makes placing the dock on my desk much easier.
I love this thing. It makes the Touchpad even more useful by giving you a place to set it when not in use and ensuring that your Touchpad is always fully charged.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Touchstone Charging Dock for TouchPad:
I purchased TouchPads for my entire family and later bought a few of the Touchstone charging docks. They make keeping the tablets charged a cinch. No using the slightly flimsy plugs that came with the tablet - you just set it on the dock and it works. The tablet functions as a digital photo frame or a clock when on the dock.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Touchstone Charging Dock for TouchPad:
I keep this on my bedside table to charge the tablet at night. It's much easier than fiddling with the tiny charging connector, and I don't have to worry about eventually breaking the socket.
If you run the stock WebOs on the tablet, you can configure the tablet to show pictures and other content while charging. I have Android installed on mine, and the charging dock activates the alarm clock app--just like any other Android docking station.
My only complaint is about the interaction between the charging dock and the official HP case/stand. If you have the case on the tablet and you want to charge it horizontally with the display on, the open cover must lie out flat on the table in front of the charger. I'd rather have the ability to flip it the other way so the cover hangs behind the tablet. If you flip it that way, it doesn't charge. The instructions clearly explain this limitation. For me, this is only a minor inconvenience and I would definitely buy it again.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Touchstone Charging Dock for TouchPad:
I purchased this to avoid wear and tear on the microUSB port when charging my Touchpad. It lives up to its purpose, making it easy to charge the tablet and, if desired, use it concurrently. The only drawback is that with the standard HP flip case, the tablet can slip off the charging stand somewhat easily. The workaround for this is to flatten the stand angle, which is highly adjustable.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Touchstone Charging Dock for TouchPad:
are you tired of plugging in your device to charge it? Well, worry no more this is what you were waiting for. Not only does it charge your HP tablet without plugging it in, but it acts as a tablet holder. The charging dock can be positioned in multiple positions without having to snap the tablet into place - you just lay it down: easy! If you have the HP protective case, you don't have to take it out of the sleeve to charge - you just lay it down on the dock and it will start charging. I like how the touchpad changes to clock mode when it goes into sleep mode while on the charging dock - can be change to loop pictures. Wish dock wasn't hardwired that way you can put it in your bag without much bulk - only reason I gave it 4 stars, otherwise it's a 5

it works with the HP slim cover on. Since it is smaller than the touchpad all you see when charging is the touchpad. Just as fast as plug in but so much more convenient.

No more trying to get the USB Charger cable inserted properly for charging the Touchpad. All I have to do now is place the tablet on the touchstone and it charges automatically. Also the exhibition mode starts right away when the tablet is placed on the charger in either landscape or portrait mode.
I would recommend this to anyone that owns the Touchpad.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Touchstone Charging Dock for TouchPad:
This is really a great product if you have a Touchpad. It's small, simple and unobtrusive. I never have to worry about plugging in my touchpad to change. I just set it in the cradle and it's charging. It works flawlessly with the official touchpad case on too.
My only complaint is that the lip at the bottom is a bit narrow so if you don't place it on there carefully, it might slip off.
