International orders*The 160GB SSD 320 Series 2.5" SATA MLC Internal Drive, featuring 25nm NAND flash memory, read speeds of up to 270 MB/s, and write speeds of up to 165 MB/s, provides enhanced computing performance. AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) 128-bit encryption uses advanced encryption technologies that keep your data secure even in the event of theft or loss of your computer. The SSD uses an array of surplus NAND flash, and saves all cached data that is being written, to prevent data loss in case the system shuts down unintentionally.
Native Command Queuing supports up to 32 operations at a time. Low write amplification and a unique wear-leveling design help provide enhanced reliability. Intel Solid-State Toolbox with Intel Solid-State Drive Optimizer and System Configuration Tuner features a set of management, information, and diagnostic tools that help improve performance. The Intel Data Migration Software simplifies installation, and transfer of data from a hard drive or SSD to any Intel SSD.

Comments about Intel 160GB SSD 320 Series 2.5" SATA MLC Internal Drive:
I just installed an Intel 320 Series SSD in my Toshiba Portege R835-P56X.
Instructions were straight forward, and easy to follow for someone that had never done anything like this before, let alone open up the back of a laptop. It only took about 45 minutes including downloading the migration softeware from the Intel website, loading it on to the laptop and cloning my existing HDD to the SSD. Everything just went exactly as the instructions said, which is not always the case with software !!!
It now takes just 20 seconds to start up my Portege and everything else opens like lightening!
Great product! Great upgrade! If you've got the cash, splash out, you will not be disappointed
