Amped Wireless Wireless 300N 600mW USB Adapter
The Wireless 300N 600mW USB Adapter from Amped Wireless is an exceedingly easy way to add a high-powered Wi-Fi connection to your desktop or laptop computer. The adapter can connect with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n signals via the 2.4GHz band. It features a maximum wireless speed of 300Mbps. The adapter relies upon a high-power 600mW amplifier and an antenna to give you wide Wi-Fi coverage. In addition, that antenna is upgradeable in case you want an even greater range of coverage.
This adapter can connect to your computer via USB in one of two ways, depending on how much output power you want. If you want to obtain the greatest wireless range with the adapter and rely upon the adapter's 600mW amplifier, then you will need to connect the included cable up to two of your computer's USB ports. If you want the standard power, then you will only need to connect the cable to one USB port. Compatible with Windows and Mac computers, this adapter is easy to setup, easy to use, and capable of bringing you high-powered, wireless, web-surfing satisfaction.

So the installation disk that came with it needed an update to work with my computer which was irritating since I was not connected. It works great. The speed is great but if my computer falls asleep it does not come back on when the computer does. It just requires a couple of clicks but it is irritating all the same. Also it tends to turn off about half way through large downloads. Once again easy to turn back and downloads usually pick up where they left off but irritating all the same. The amped thing really works though. The wireless is a good distance from here and I am able to stream hd video when my brother was barely able to get a signal on his computer or Iphone.
