The MOBILE DJ Portable Active Speaker for iPod and iPhone from Ion is a compact and portable speaker ideal for music, DJ, karaoke, and speech applications. It has integrated speakers and an internal amplifier that allow you to reach listeners up to 150' away. It features a pair of iPod docks that work with most dockable models of iPods and iPhones. You can play back music from your devices, and even mix between them using the DJ-style crossfader.
The speaker has a pair of 1/4" mic inputs for singing or making announcements. A microphone is included so you can use the MOBILE DJ right out of the box. There are selectable effects for adding echo and ambience to your vocals to give them a fun sound. The speaker has an internal rechargeable battery that lasts up to 12 hours. For longer sessions and recharging, you can simply plug into a power outlet. The unit has a heavy-duty construction with recessed wheels and a telescoping handle for terrific portability.
