The Aluratek 2-Port USB 2.0 KVM Switch with Peripheral Sharing is designed to connect and share a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, a monitor, and peripherals between 2 computers, providing a clean clutter-free look to the installation. Included 4-in-1 cable with 1 locking connector connects to the switch and computers. Integrated USB 2.0 hub allows you to connect peripherals such as printers, scanners, mp3 players, and external hard drives between the 2 computers.
With the custom 2-level switching feature, you can switch from 1 computer to the other, without interrupting the task (such as printing, CD writing, etc.) that is carried out in the former computer. For effortless switching between 2 computers, you can use the PushButton on top of the switch or type the HotKeys from your keyboard.
The 2-Port USB 2.0 KVM Switch emulates the keyboard and mouse for error-free boot-up. It supports a video resolution up to 2048 x 1536, a data transfer rate up to 480 Mbps, and is backward compatible with USB 1.1 devices. Other features of the 2-Port USB 2.0 KVM Switch include built-in auto-scan mode and LEDs for port monitoring.
