Crumpler Karachi Outpost (Large)
The Karachi Outpost (L) from Crumpler is designed to hold a camera, 17" laptop and accessories in a compact easy to carry backpack. The bag consists of 2 compartments - a laptop compartment at the back and a camera compartment at the front. Both contain internal dividers which can be fully customized or removed to suit your needs. The bag's unique face down design keeps your items secure during transport.
Rearward Opening

Detachable Main Compartment
- For times when you don't need to bring along all your camera gear. Just detach the padded main compartment from its top, side and bottom hook-and-loop fasteners
Fully Adjustable Ergonomic Carrying System
- Wide and body contoured, the Karachi's fully adjustable ergonomic harness straps combine with chest and waist belts to distribute weight evenly across your body
Padded Carry Handle
- The Karachi's carry handle features EVA foam cushioning for comfort and double weave flamed polypropylene for strength and durability
Tripod Holder
- The included pouch secures your tripod to the bag freeing your hands for quick, on the go shooting
Moisture Control
- The rear of the bag and underside of its harness both feature Air Mesh padding. The rear also features venting channels to keep fresh air circulating between the bag and your back
Dual Accessory Loops
- The injection moulded D ring accessory loop on each harness strap lets you attach various photo gadgetry for instant access
Waterproof
- The bag's 1,000D outer is designed to weather the storm and keep your equipment dry

Comments about Crumpler Karachi Outpost (Large):
The backpack has great shoulder straps and support for my back. I am a big guy and many smaller packs do not fit me. It has a nice layout inside for my lenses, bodies, small video cams, with easy access for my laptop and Ipad. There are two rear side zippers that are great, just a tad tight to access inside if you have a full backpack and large hands,but I would rather that than a loose exterior pocket where things could fall out of.
