If you want powerful, room-filling audio from a tabletop system that looks as good as it sounds, we don't blame you. The Sony RDH-GTK1i Hi-Fi Music System boasts an impressive 220-watt RMS power output, two illuminated 2-way speakers, and an iPod dock so you can enjoy your playlists. Your iPod will charge whenever it's docked, so you won't have to worry about it running low on power.
The RDH-GTK1i has a USB port so you can plug in a flash memory drive. If you have AAC, WMA and MP3 files saved, the unit can play these from flash memory or a disc. You'll also be able to tune into AM and FM radio stations for talk radio, sports, music and more. And you can program 20 FM and 10 AM stations for one-touch access. If you feel the need to go beyond these options, you can connect another device like a computer, gaming console, MP3 player and more to the line-in audio jack. Or you can connect an external CD drive to play your collection of CDs.
This system also has several functions that allow you to customize your audio including an equalizer with 6 presets for different types of music and a GROOVE bass boost so it can punch out extra deep bass when you want it to. The system also has a one-line fluorescent display so you can see what's playing. With the included remote control, you can make adjustments without even getting up from your favorite spot.
If you do decide to take it on the go, you'll find that the dual side grip handles come in handy for transport. This portable yet powerful hi-fi system makes an excellent choice for a bedroom, office, or anywhere else you want high-output, superb sound whether it's coming from your disc collection, iPod playlist or the radio.
