The Nimar Underwater Housing for Canon EOS 5D Mark II DSLR (No Port) enables you to capture photos and video underwater with your Canon EOS 5D Mark II DSLR camera. The housing is sized and weighted with near-neutral buoyancy and superb underwater handling. It has been tested and proven safe to use at a maximum depth of 200' (60 m). There is an enlarged optical viewfinder providing the brightest and biggest possible image viewing. The housing features a clear back housing cover, allowing for a visual inspection of the O-ring seal surfaces and controlled monitoring of the camera inside the housing. A moisture alarm (light and audio) is included, as well, to prevent any damage to your equipment due to an incorrect closing of the housing.
The locking system consists of 4 secure hooks around the housing, neutralizing any possibility of accidental opening while underwater. Camera installation is quick and easy and you can keep your hands on the handles while accessing all main camera controls, including On / Off. The housing is designed for a Bayonet Port system that accepts a wide range of macro, wide-angle and other zoom lenses, which can be changed without removing the camera from the housing. A port is required but not included with this housing.
This unit comes with the standard Nikonos bulkhead, allowing you to use other manufacturers' strobes in manual mode. When an optional Nimar strobe is connected to the bulkhead, automatic TTL flash exposure control is enabled.

Comments about Nimar Underwater Housing for Canon EOS 5D Mark II DSLR (No Port):
am i really the first review?
anyways, it was very easy to get started up with thorough yet simple instructions on use and maintance. With A depth rating of 200' I no longer have to worry about going beyond 33' with my camera. The only downside was that some of the buttons did stick a little, but it's a small price to pay for the ability to share pictures and videos of my underwater adventures for years to come.

Comments about Nimar Underwater Housing for Canon EOS 5D Mark II DSLR (No Port):
Took the case and camera on my trip to the Grand Caymans. Didn't want a bulky camera and case found out that Nimar is lighter and slimer than Ikelite.
Becasuse the visibility is 100 feet + down there, the case and camera worked flawlessly. Pictures were sharp, well let and very coloful. Case stayed dry and I didn't have any fogging issues at all. Wonderful product by nimar and a great price from B&H.
