Sony ECM-TL3 Earphone-Style Mini Electret Condenser Microphone
The ECM-TL3 Earphone-Style Mini Electret Condenser Microphone from Sony is an ultra compact and lightweight microphone that's ideal for recording telephone conversations, as well as other discreet recording applications. The mic has an omnidirectional pickup pattern to provide clear audio pickup. It has a gold-plated 3-conductor 3.5mm mono mini plug, allowing you to connect it to the mic jack of a laptop, portable audio recorder, and other devices. The mic uses plug-in power from the mic jack, so no batteries are required.
The mic fits into the ear like an in-ear headphone, and it includes 3 sizes of hybrid silicone eartips so you can find a snug and comfortable fit. The compact size and in-ear fit allow you to place a phone receiver on your ear normally to record a conversation. The OFC cord provides a high-quality signal path and offers plenty of slack.

Put it in your ear canal plug it in your recorder (not sure if it works with other makes) and make the call . Do a test , call your mailbox and let the recorded message be the the sell point.
