The Lindahl Professional Vignetter is used as a lens shade (which extends from 4" to 10"), and as a vignetting system. It features three standards for vignettes or filters. A single 3" filter slot is next to the lens. The center standard is for 4.5" glass "neutral-density" vignettes. Any vignetting device that may cause flare should be used here. The front standard is for 4.5" Hi-Key vignetting and montaging masks. The front of the vignetter has metal plates which allow the use of magnetic vignettes. Recommended for longer focal lengths i.e. 90-180mm. Adjusting the standards forward and backward gives you complete control of all vignetting effects.
NOTE: Optional Size 8 Adapter Rings are required for mounting to a lens and are available in sizes from 49 to 77mm, Bay 50, Bay 60 (internal) and Bay VI.
