The technology of recording to recordable CDs in real-time is finally a stable reality. The CDR-300 is a portable CD recorder that is ideal for direct to CD-R/RW recording applications and will function with both professional and consumer recordable CD formats.

XLR microphone and 1/4" line inputs are provided with 48V phantom power available to the XLR inputs for powering condenser microphones. A built-in microphone and speaker are also available along with extensive headphone monitoring. The CDR-300 has digital S/PDIF input and output and does not implement SCMS but will pass it on if the original digital copy has it imbedded.

Three band EQ is available for adjusting the tonal balance of playback and record levels can be adjusted automatically or manually. A fully functional IR remote is included with the CDR-300 and power is available via AC power or through a 4-pin DC connector for use with optional external rechargeable battery
