The Studio Precision 8 from Event Electronics is a highly accurate, two-way studio monitor ideal for larger studio spaces. The amplifier circuitry, which is custom-designed for the driver components, features low-noise semiconductors and audio grade film capacitors for enhanced dynamic range with low distortion. The Studio Precision 8 includes variable low and high frequency trim controls, a variable input sensitivity control, and a switchable 80Hz high pass filter. It offers XLR and 1/4" TRS input connectors for connection to any system.

The 8-inch low frequency driver utilizes a neodymium magnet and gives the driver exceptionally low distortion characteristics. It also makes it stronger than traditional woofers and gives it a greater level of output efficiency. The design of the 1" soft dome high frequency radiator helps prevent the ear fatigue associated with metal-domed tweeters. It also has a neodymium magnet and produces a broad, flat radiation pattern that doesn't require corrective equalization.

Dual large-diameter linear-flow bass ports allow for exceptional low frequency coupling into the room, resulting in low distortion and superior low frequency transient response. The ports are front-mounted, allowing the speakers to be placed near walls without restricting the ports' air flow.
